Goodbye

"Goodbye!" he called to her as he climbed onto the bus.  He was going to miss her.  But they would see each other again.

"Goodbye!" she called back, tears of sadness rolling down her cheeks.  But she was happy for him really.  And they would see each other again.

They never saw each other again.
